My ongoing sculptural work in fiber, metals and clay reflects both my independent investigations into form and materials and my formal training. Currently I work from my studio space in Cleveland, Ohio and have primarily exhibited my work in Ohio, Massachusetts and Oregon. My work is also in private collections nationally. My education ranges from my undergraduate education at Carleton College (BA), through ceramic studies at Mudflat Studio in Somerville, Massachusetts, the Oregon Center for Arts and Crafts, Portland Community College in Portland, Oregon, basketry at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon, and metal work through Kent State University’s Blossom program.
